Joseph Capriati - Day Trip in the Park

Hi everyone! From NYC but visiting LA for Memorial Day wknd and planning on going to J Cap in the park.

For those who have been to day trip in the park before, what can I expect from the venue/crowd/event etc for someone like Capriati? Any tips/advice? Thanks!

First solo trip / London for the advanced?

reposted from r/solotravel:

Hi everyone, I’m new to solo traveling and doing my first true solo trip this summer.

My first stop is London for a weekend, landing Friday morning and leaving Monday morning. I’ve been to London multiple times and even lived in Richmond as a student for a few months. That is to say I’ve done all the major attractions, I even took a history of London class when I was studying there during which we explored all of the major historical sites and museums in London proper and even some outside the city (Hampton Court, Windsor).

I’m looking for recommendations for what someone who has done all of the touristy/major activities should do this time around. One idea I am considering is taking a day trip out to Dover Castle as I’ve never seen the castle nor the cliffs. My hotel is pretty central so it’ll be easy for me to get around on the tube.

I’d also really appreciate any tips/advice from experienced solo travelers about how to make the most of my time being by myself, things you should/shouldn’t do as a solo traveler (beyond the basics), things that you can only appreciate as a solo traveler, etc.

Thank you in advance!
