My neighbor knocked over my bike

As the title says. She was in a hurry to take her kids to school and completely missed that my bike was parked there.

I don’t have a garage to keep my bike in but the street I live on is quiet and not busy at all. Its a Speed 400. My first bike that I got last October. But surprisingly I wasn’t too heartbroken over it. She was nice and profusely apologized and told me to tell her how much the repair is going to be so she can pay for it.

Broken mirror, brake lever, damaged bar end on right side and bent kickstand. Thats the visible damage I could see. the engine guard did its job and took the brunt of it.
Rode around the street and it seems to work fine. Rear break feels bit different than what I’m used to so maybe the break pedal is bent. Rode it to the dealership and got an appointment in few days to get damage estimates.

I guess I’m surprised it hasn’t happened sooner living in NYC. My landlord lets me park it in the driveway but I’ve been putting it on the street whenever I plan to ride frequently and it’s a bit of a hassle to move it around the landlord’s car. Lesson learned.
