Book Club in Bakersfield
Ive looked and tried connecting with book clubs to no avail. Anyone 18+ interested in starting up a book club? Im a married, 31yr female into legal thrillers, historical fiction, crime/mystery, psychological dramas. Romance and fantasy aren’t my usual go-to, however, I’m open to anything if the majority wants it and it sounds like a great story!
Maybe we can meet bi-weekly/monthly and aim for 1 book every month. We can do outings like watching the movie adaptations. We can keep it chill and do none of that? Im open to anything!
The goal is to meet some locals, find friends in the community, and discover more Authors/books/stories because there are SO MANY🙏🏼

ETA: Ive created a community called BakersfieldBookClub for those truly interested. Right now it seems this book club is best fit for woman (cis/trans), at least 18yrs. Thank you everyone for reaching out. Trying to respond in a timely fashion 😅
