Ferber?

My son is 22 months old and typically wakes up around 6-7am then has his first nap around 12:30-1 for about an hour and a half and then is awake typically around 5-6 hours before bed.

He admittedly still has a bottle before bed. I exclusively pumped for so long that the bottle before bed has unfortunately continued. He usually has the bottle and then we cuddle for a few minutes and then sometimes he falls asleep in our arms but normally he falls asleep in his crib after we lay him down drowsy but awake. We just rub his back.

Going to sleep at night is always a toss up on how well it’s gonna go. Anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour hahah but honestly the biggest issue is just how much he wakes up at night. If he just wakes up once for only a few minutes it’s a wonderful night!! Usually it’s multiple times and I’m at my breaking point. I have never been one to sleep through alarms or press snooze for an hour but now I can’t wake up on time before work because I’m so exhausted. Okay sorry just needed to vent lol

What type of sleep training would yall recommend and please give me all the details. Multiple people have recommended the Ferber method to me but I guess i just want to make sure I do everything correctly. If we do check ins 3-5-10 and 15 minutes do I start over at 3 minutes if he’s still crying? Do I stay at 15 minutes until he falls asleep? If he wakes up in the middle of the night do I soothe for a few minutes and then start the 3-5-10 and 15 increments again?
