This might probably be a long and confusing read, but I'll try to make it easy since I'm really looking for advice din.
For context, I am a transferee in one of the UAAP schools in Manila. I am currently taking BSBA, and upon transfer, there are already many subjects na na-credit sa akin from my previous institution. As a transferee, I have an irregular load every semester, and ngayong 2nd sem I am very underloaded. I recently applied for an internship at one of the biggest airlines in our country and, fortunately, got accepted. I then told my parents about it, and they said it would be a good opportunity. In my new uni, the internship lasts for a year, and if I follow the curriculum, mag-start ang internship ko by June 2027. I know I shouldn't have applied yet as early as now, but I initially wanted to do it voluntarily, pero sabi ng magulang ko, sayang naman if hindi mac-credit since you're underload naman. I usually ask for advising sa academic unit, but they don't address the issue easily, madalas pagpapasapasahan ka lang nila hanggang sa mapagod ka na during the process. With that, is there anyone here na maagang nag internship and still got credited sa internship course nila? What did you do to get this credited? I want to take this internship as I know it will be a good opportunity pero gets ko din naman magulang ko na sayang if it won't be credited so I want to hit two birds with one stone sana. TYIA!
