[PS1/PS2] Questions about Dualshock SCPH-1200 repair
Hello everyone!
I just got two of these green see-through Dualshocks (SCPH-1200), but I found out that the X button doesn't work on the other one and I can't find a replacement membraine (SA1Q20A) anywhere for sale.
Next problem is the joysticks (L3&R3) not clicking down properly and I'm unsure whether I could buy sticks meant for DS2 as a replacement as I can't seem to find sticks meant for the DS.
Last thing is that the L1&2 and R1&2 buttons feel mushy and worn down and I'd like to change all the rubber button pads, but can't find them for sale either. I tried to put the L&R buttons' rubber pads from a DS2 to the DS, but the measurements are a bit off. I could just trim the rubber a bit for a good fit , but I'd like ones made properly.
So my questions are the following:
- Are SA1Q20A available somewhere for purchase, if not, can I use something else?
- Can I use joysticks meant for a DS2 on a DS?
- Are there rubber pads for the DS for sale anywhere?
