24F | Looking for something genuine
I’ve never been in a relationship before. I was always super focused on my studies, and honestly, I didn’t really have the time or headspace to commit to dating. Now that I’m finally at a point where I can say I’m ready, I figured it’s time to start putting myself out there. 😂
I’m not looking to rush into a relationship, though. I’m definitely a slow-burn type of person. I’d rather start by getting to know someone, build a genuine connection, become comfortable with each other, and see where things naturally go.
At the same time, I’m not looking for something casual or just for the sake of having a boyfriend. I’d like to eventually find someone I can build a life with, with marriage as the end goal. I know that’s not something you can decide after a few conversations, which is why I’d rather take my time and see if we’re genuinely compatible.
A little about me: I’m 24, 5’1”, petite, fair-skinned, and originally from the Philippines and I moved here in USA. I’m born and raised Catholic, so having a Christian faith and similar values is important to me. I enjoy cooking, walking in parks, card and board games, watching movies (especially horror), and I absolutely love animals.
As for who I’m looking for: preferably 23–30, taller than me (which shouldn’t be too difficult considering I’m 5’1” 😂), and someone who takes care of himself and lives a relatively healthy/active lifestyle. I’d actually love someone who can influence me to be healthier too because I could definitely use the motivation HAHAHA. I value consistency, respect, communication, patience, and emotional maturity. English is my second language, so I’d appreciate someone patient with me when I don’t phrase things perfectly. I also really value my Filipino culture and would love someone who’s genuinely interested in learning about it, just as I’d want to learn about his background.
And yes, physical attraction matters to me too. I’m not going to pretend I don’t appreciate a handsome guy. 😂 You don’t have to look like you were sculpted by the Greek gods, but I’d like to be attracted to you. Chemistry matters!
