Today I received a message through my daughter’s daycare portal that she was bit in the hand, and there was a mark, but they didn’t have a chance to do an incident report before we picked her up.

My question is this: should I insist that they do a report? We’re in Virginia and she’s at a nationwide chain daycare. Does anything happen with the incident reports on a reporting to the state level? She’s 20 months and this is the first time this has happened.
