This is where a debate may begin, but I’m not a resident here, I’ve been here 7 years but I’ve never struggled to get work. I’ve got almost 5 years full time experience in mining/construction and 2 years in hospitality in Bartending and I can’t get a job in either. Now I completely understand that jobs in that industry should always go to residents first, but I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced being out of work? Resident or not? Does anyone have any tips please? Any recruiters on here, business owners etc. I feel like maybe I’m missing something because I have great references and loads of knowledge and experience
