I'm planning to start my preparation now and can dedicate around 2 years to it. I wanted to ask experienced aspirants and selected candidates:

1. Is 2 years of serious preparation enough to secure a good rank in SSC CGL?

2. How competitive is the exam compared to what people generally say online?

3. What should a complete beginner focus on during the initial months of preparation?

4.Are coaching institutes necessary, or can self-study be sufficient?

5. How realistic is it to get a posting in your home state? Does it depend entirely on rank, post preference, vacancies, or some other factors?

Any advice, preparation tips, common mistakes to avoid, or resources for beginners would be greatly appreciated.
