Account Retrieving
Hello everyone! My genshin account was hacked on 2024 and decided I want to try retrieving it since I finally found my old receipts. I tried to submit a recovery form base on the guide here. I think I've gotten everything submitted from First top up + receipt, first device, email used, and got everything in the mandatory info on point at least. However im unsure of my last login date and I hope it wont hinder my chance of retrieving it because its been a long time. I checked my account UID through enka every other month and saw that the hacker had SOLD it and whoever had bought it had been playing it so I got some new 5 stars so its definitely been getting played and passed around... I
For the additional info I added: My traveler (Aether), First 5 star, first in game friend(?), hoyolab/hyv username, birthday set, first nickname set for Aether, my other 5 stars PRIOR to the hacking so I didnt include the new ones... and pretty much things only I know if I was the owner. If I do get rejected I also plan to resubmit and add the UID of my EU server since I submitted the form for my main which is Asia but I also saved the UID for my EU too. I wonder if it'll make my case more solid. Thanks I only need a bit of reassurance that it's still possible😭🙏
UPDATE: I've gotten my acc back! this is mostly as a tip as I've gotten my account back in less that 48 hours! I sent an email on May 15th, I got rejected at 12 am at May 17, resend an email immediately and got accepted at 3 am (this is on UTC+8 and the email was sent by a SEA CS).
Why did I get rejected?: I input Google Account instead of Email only. This is a common mistake I guess since its a long time. But if you made your account in 2020, high chance is you used Email
How did I get it back?: i followed all the tips and filled out the form as much as I could. Additional info is just to really prove it better but as others have said, make your mandatory info onpoint as possible. It helps that I also have my first top up receipt. Last login date just needs you to be as close to the time period. Also make sure if you're android you indicate the Model name and not the name of the device e.g: I use Samsung so it wont be S26. It'll be SM-S942.
What did I put on my additional info?: Traveler, Birthday Set, First Voice over: English, First 5 star + what date I acquired their friendship maxed, First name set for Traveler, Mihoyo/HoyoLab/Hoyoverse username, My EU Server UID in the same account (could be irrelevant), Verification code used to register my miHoyo account/email with the Date and Time they sent the email (could also be irrelevant)
