Hello, I'm posting here as I recently got my application form accepted and my account retrieved due to me being unable to reset the password for my account, reason being "Too many requests, please refresh and try again later", even though my account is retrieved, the error still pops up, I tried resetting my modem and it still there, what do I do?
I emailed CS with my new email for account recovery and filled the form with the new email. but a day later I lost my new email. So can I contact HOYO with my Case Number with another new email? (lost contact with account recovery process) will this work?
Minha conta do genshin teve um gmail pela própria google mesmo inativado por suspeitas de BOT, sendo que eu criei ele só para poder deixar a conta no genshin, ele tinha número e outro gmail verificado, enfim.
Ainda tenho acesso a conta pela hoyolab e consigo jogar genshin impact, porém eu queria mudar o vínculo por precaução caso o gmail seja excluído pela google. Eu preenchi o formulário só que eu fiquei na dúvida.
Eu tenho o registro da primeira compra na conta e o comprovante, também coloquei a data que entrei no jogo pela primeira vez e também informei o modelo do celular e o que eu usei recentemente, pediu uid do genshin e também o servidor e eu preenchi tudo certinho, a conta também é vinculada pela microsoft e informei isso e que podia comprovar o vínculo, mas eu fiquei na dúvida, o que eu faço se eles por algum motivo recusar e achar que eu não sou o dono da conta?
Ive been trying to do the hoyoverse account issue application form but everytime they keep saying im not the original owner of my account.
The current gmail on my hoyoverse account was deleted around febuary and ive been trying to change it on the hoyoverse website for around a month
I dont know how to do it for it to work once so i can change the gmail off my account.
Is anyone able to help somehow?
Hello everyone! My genshin account was hacked on 2024 and decided I want to try retrieving it since I finally found my old receipts. I tried to submit a recovery form base on the guide here. I think I've gotten everything submitted from First top up + receipt, first device, email used, and got everything in the mandatory info on point at least. However im unsure of my last login date and I hope it wont hinder my chance of retrieving it because its been a long time. I checked my account UID through enka every other month and saw that the hacker had SOLD it and whoever had bought it had been playing it so I got some new 5 stars so its definitely been getting played and passed around... I
For the additional info I added: My traveler (Aether), First 5 star, first in game friend(?), hoyolab/hyv username, birthday set, first nickname set for Aether, my other 5 stars PRIOR to the hacking so I didnt include the new ones... and pretty much things only I know if I was the owner. If I do get rejected I also plan to resubmit and add the UID of my EU server since I submitted the form for my main which is Asia but I also saved the UID for my EU too. I wonder if it'll make my case more solid. Thanks I only need a bit of reassurance that it's still possible😭🙏
UPDATE: I've gotten my acc back! this is mostly as a tip as I've gotten my account back in less that 48 hours! I sent an email on May 15th, I got rejected at 12 am at May 17, resend an email immediately and got accepted at 3 am (this is on UTC+8 and the email was sent by a SEA CS).
Why did I get rejected?: I input Google Account instead of Email only. This is a common mistake I guess since its a long time. But if you made your account in 2020, high chance is you used Email
How did I get it back?: i followed all the tips and filled out the form as much as I could. Additional info is just to really prove it better but as others have said, make your mandatory info onpoint as possible. It helps that I also have my first top up receipt. Last login date just needs you to be as close to the time period. Also make sure if you're android you indicate the Model name and not the name of the device e.g: I use Samsung so it wont be S26. It'll be SM-S942.
What did I put on my additional info?: Traveler, Birthday Set, First Voice over: English, First 5 star + what date I acquired their friendship maxed, First name set for Traveler, Mihoyo/HoyoLab/Hoyoverse username, My EU Server UID in the same account (could be irrelevant), Verification code used to register my miHoyo account/email with the Date and Time they sent the email (could also be irrelevant)

Hey guys, i really really really need your help, i’m super frustrated . So i used to play genshin since 2021, stopped playing in like 2023-2024, i also topped up around 2021-2022 i don’t exactly remember because it was such a long time ago. I even played recently on my old device ( i don’t have it anymore). And now as i wanted to log in into my account, to play on a new device, i need to go through verification per email address, which i don’t have access to, because it was linked to a phone number, that doesn’t exist anymore (i tried to log in into gmail, but it doesn’t allow me , it just says we cannot help you , just create new account). I first tried to change email address just via website, but in the end it just told me to contact customer service, which i tried ( i literally had to scroll through my photos of genshin, to find smth like UID), they said i need to submit a recovery form, but the questions are so freaking detailed.. l mean okay maybe i could figure out when did i top up according to the photos of new characters i got, but to submit receipts?? from 2021?! i don’t even remember how did i pay.. and the problem is i can’t even submit a form without giving the payments records…The thing is that a phone number linked to my genshin account exists, so i could go through that verification, but the game won’t let me. I’m so sad and desperate, does anyone have any clue how can i regain access to my account ?
I'm doing the account recovery survey thing to change the email linked to my PSN but I've got two questions. First, when it asks what is my most used device should I say PS4 since that IS what I played most often on? Or should I say PS5 since after getting one I have not touched my PS4 and its been in my closet for the past 3 years while I had not touched Genshin like at all. Second question. For the "when was my most recent top-up" question how should I respond? I only remember it was around Christmas and it was most likely 2021 or 2022. I don't have an exact date.

More info is that I still remember the password and email but i can't bypass the decurity verification since i need to open my gmail which is in the phone that I lost during 2023. I don't have reciepts of my purchases in game but I remember the dates that I bought them.
Any info i could add? I remember the characters I pulled and other dates I had them written on my old notebook.
Incase they reject my application, can someone give me tips on how they recovered their genshin acc? Thank you!

I lost access to my old Genshin Impact account after my Twitter/X account connected to it was suddenly deleted. I still don’t fully understand why it got deleted because my passwords, email access, and account information were never shared with anyone else.
I contacted HoYoverse support multiple times and provided everything I possibly could. I described my gameplay history in detail, the characters and weapons I pulled, who I used to play co-op with, approximate dates of important events and banners, and old account details.
I even requested official transaction archives from my bank with my Genshin purchases dating back to 2020 just to prove ownership, but my recovery requests still keep getting rejected.
At this point I feel completely hopeless because this account meant a lot to me and had years of progress and memories on it.
Has anyone ever successfully recovered an account in a similar situation after losing access to Twitter/X login? Any advice or shared experiences would really help.
