I live in a smaller apartment building in a lower unit. My front door leads directly outside. At night when it’s dark, the bright front light turns on and a crazy amount of mosquitos hangout on my white front door since the reflection is so bright.
My biggest issue is that when I leave or come inside, I bring them in with me because they come off the door when I walk in. When I first walk in, the ceiling is very high so the ones that go at the top I can’t reach with a vacuum or a broom.
Are there any deterrents I can use that will keep them from landing on my door. I don’t think we’ll be able to replace the light outside with something less intense. I do live about 100m away from a conservation area, so I know they will come back, it’s not an issue of eliminating them.
Any help is really appreciated.
