Hey folks!

In my latest save in Manor Lords I tried building a larger, efficient multi-region setup where each region specializes in certain resources (e.g. farming village, fishing village, etc.).

My main town is supposed to handle military recruitment — and that’s exactly where things get frustrating 😓

The issue is the military assignment system. The families that moved first into the settlement get pulled into militia service first.

The problem:

In my main region, I still maintain a basic level of food production, but I’m not really aiming to push those households to level 3+ (no tavern, etc.). As a result, I now end up with level 4 households whose members never get drafted, while a level 1 vegetable farmer ends up serving instead.

And honestly… the level 1 vegetable farmer is literally refusing to wear chainmail 😏

Has anyone found a smart workaround for this?

I’m one click away from doing a "controlled" demographic adjustment’ 😏

If I remove firewood supply from the entire population so that most people freeze, then ramp production back up… new families should move in. But they will occupy houses in build order, right? So if I assume right that still wouldn’t reliably fix the recruitment order 😅

Hi my Lords and Ladies,

I’m struggling with my Iron Ore output in the current build and I’m wondering if I’m missing something.

I had a rich deposit and was pulling 100+ Ore/month with 4 workers.

My town has grown to 100+ families. I’ve upgraded to a Deep Mine (Infinite) a few years ago but i noticed that my output has tropper to 20-30 Ore/month (step by step) with the same amount of workers.

I have optimize the housing for workers to live right next to the mine nearby a Storehouse with fuel, Market etc. I have enough tools.

How do I get to 40-60+ Ore or is this impossibile actually?

Please help me out - ootherwise, I will have no choice but to claim your regions! 😏

My motherlanguage isn't english, just saying.
