I’m clinically dumb

IQ tests are humbling. They make you realize that where you are is hard work and privilege more than intelligence. I’m currently working a full time job, working on my master’s, and studying for the MCAT. If other people worked as hard they would be farther than me and I already feel so behind.

I took these tests back when I had schizophrenia and a thought disorder.

But! Why the variability in the scores? Does it reflect changing IQ as the brain develops, changing IQ as my mental illness adjusts (which is noted as a big inhibitor in many of these tests), or just that the IQ test is kinda shitty

Also I guess I’m average but I find clinically dumb funny because of the 4 percentile processing speed (borderline lmao)

I wonder what it would be today. Maybe later I’ll take that iq test
