I just started experimenting with making art from cards but I’ve had this idea for it in my head for a while now! Inspired by how others have done this same thing, but putting my own twist on it ❤️ I hope someone can enjoy them! I’m focusing on the main color parts of the cards first because I feel they’re often overlooked and discarded 😭 the artwork of the cards are nice, but it’s my goal to turn things people consider to be trash or not useful into treasures!

A 101 Day Later Update on the Criminal Family!

Thought I would do an update: the smol family has become quite large 😅 from 200g each to over 2 kilos each, they’re now all ready to find their new forever families! Mama has been such a help to raising and rearing these adorable babies, I’ll be sad to see them all go 😭 but knowing they’re going to their perfect homes makes it all worth it 🥹

Getting back into Broken Glass Turned treasure!

I was putting off my huge pile of broken glass for so long, I decided it was time to dive in again. I was gifted some ocean themed clay cutters and used one to make this Manta Ray imprint ❤️ I’m in love with how it turned out! My microwave kiln and 10+ year old microwave will be very busy this week 😂

Made 100% (yes, even the string!) from bottle caps and single use bags

I finally did it!! No more stressing over the fact that I need to purchase keychains for my creations, I unlocked the secret!

Basically, if you cut thick strips from plastic bags, twist them real tight, and use medium heat to bind them, you can make sturdy, waterproof straps for your creations.

Finally something I’ve made is 100% reclaimed materials ❤️

Just wanted to share with a community that can hopefully understand my absolute joy at this, most people I know think I’m crazy to work so hard on these 😅

I fundraise for Animal Rescue in Japan using Upcycled and Recyled Art! What do you think?

I’ve been honing my skills for a whole year now and am using what I’ve learned to make beautiful art pieces from aluminum, glass, plastic, and fabric that can be used as keychains, magnets, earrings, bags, and more! All profit goes directly towards animal rescue in Japan 🇯🇵 I hope my love for my craft shines through! Thanks for looking ❤️

I finally found the perfect way to safely turn upcycled aluminum can art into keychains!

After messing with resin, lots of glue and felt, and just not getting results I was 100% percent happy with, I figured out the best solution - using vinyl pouches! Now they protect the 2 dimensional art while allowing them to become accessories, not stationary art in frames. I can switch them out as I please, and the art doesn’t get destroyed. Anyone else try something similar with fragile or 2D art they want to carry around?

I Just Learned That You Can Make Postcards From Almost Anything!

Why did no one tell me about this before?? Wish I had more boxes saved up for this project 😸

Edit: forgot to mention, I have quite a few unused eraser pads that I handmade a stamp with so that the postcards will all be uniform. I found this to be super useful but you can easily just hand write/draw the address lines yourself ❤️
