Easy pace slowed down. Accumulated fatigue or due to hotter weather?
Is it just me, o pati kayo rin?
Manila Marathon will be my first full mary, and I’m aiming for a sub-4:15, or kung papalarin sub4. I’ve just completed my 20-week marathon training block, with 5 runs a week and do 30-min S&C exercises 1-2 times weekly (same day as my easy days). Before the peak weeks, I’ve been averaging around 6:55/km at my zone 2 range in most of my 8K easy runs.
The following weeks after my 32K peak long run, ang bilis mag elevate ng HR ko, yung tipong after 1K, my HR would go up to 148, then 150+, hanggang sa 160.
It’s very frustrating kasi hanggang sa 2 taper weeks ko hindi na bumalik sa dati yung easy runs ko. It’s also bothering me that my usual runs feel longer, na gusto ko matapos na agad tuwing tumatakbo ako kahit shorter distance nalang yung latter runs ko.
