Adoption as non carrying partner

My wife (cis F) and I (FtM) are expecting our first child in January. I am a passing man. I will be on the birth certificate. But is there anything I need to legally do to adopt the baby once it’s born? We used a sperm donor but my egg. I want to be sure there’s no questions about my parental rights despite not being the gestational parent. Is it true I need to legally adopt the baby? Any direction would be helpful.

Edit: I am in New York and my wife and I are legally married.

Urethrogram showing urethra not quite healed

Hey all,

I had a urethrogram yesterday and it showed some of the dye/urine escaping at the UL connection point. I’m 4 weeks post UL connection. My urologist told me to use the SP for another two weeks and then we will do the test again. He seemed to think this was not uncommon, that my body is just taking a little longer, and that it should heal on its own. Has anyone experienced this? Looking for someone who’s been in this spot - did it heal up eventually? did it turn into a different issue? how long did it take to correct itself?

Progress after stage 2

Hopefully can start pee trials in a few weeks. I’m happy so far with how things are healing. This process is brutal but so far it’s been worth it.
