I wanted to get this cool Naruto action figure for my husband for Father’s Day. He’s looked at them before and has expressed that he would love one. However, I just noticed that it’s made out of pvc, which is pretty guaranteed to have phthalates. We’re very anti-phthalates for the kids toys, clothes, body products, anything that would go in their mouths, so this immediately gave me some pause.

This would be an action figure that would sit on his home office desk. Not going to be worn, consumed, or even touched really. The kids wouldn’t be around it either. How concerned should I be? Should I skip this gift?
