Dealing with a small leaks and would like some advice if this is something that I can fix as an amateur, or if professional help is encouraged.

First year homeowner that only has experience fixing broken pipes as needed for this irrigation system. Have no experience dealing with valve boxes.

The situation: The small leak is coming from the grey piece that is connected to the white fitting where the bend is happening. The irrigation is currently off which stopped the leak for the time being.

Is this something that an amateur can do with the right pieces, tools, and research? Or would it be best for someone with more experience since it has to do with the valve box.
