I just left the theater and Jesus Christ I get the hype for IMAX. To begin, this doesn’t really have to do with the quality of the movie (it was ok honestly) but the sound system made the movie a near religious experience and the size of the screen was breathtaking. My only two gripes were that it was a little too loud and the black bars of doom on the side (maybe it wasn’t the smartest choice to pick a film that wasn’t made for IMAX as my first IMAX movie) but overall the presentation is extremely well done.
