Having some trouble with turning on the system for summer. I closed all the ball valves outside, turned on the main water, opened the handle valves on the outside system, opened the valves in the box outside, sprinklers turned on and ran on manual. The problem is afterwards the backflow preventer had a gush of continuous water (see first picture). If I run it manual, it stops but the second manual water is over it goes again. Only way to stop was to turn the water back off in the house. Any help is appreciated to stop the gushing from back flow preventer.
