You need to lose again and again to not lose again.

Do not worry if you are in losing phase. It is initial part of becoming successful in this game. It requires you to lose enough to not lose again. Same thing goes for missing good trades. You need to miss them enough to not miss again.

You get it only when you understand the game. No matter how many hours you spend, but how well you understand what’s going in charts in front of you makes you winner. Good luck.

If market doesn’t move nobody makes money.

This is some psychological tip if anyone needs it. Everyone’s profitable strategy is profitable because market moves or no money to be made.

If you are working on strategy building ensure you have this is part of your system. Hope it helps someone out there.

You are losing because you aren’t ready to lose.

Don’t close the trade when you see green numbers. Let it run to full TP or hit SL. Closing trades with fear of losing profits is another way to minimize profits and account overall.

Don’t try to correct your mistakes.

Most of the times traders make mistakes and want to correct them back immediately, so they can make it even. This pattern leads to making more mistakes and losses eventually. If you notice you made a mistake then don’t try to correct them back immediately and force trades. Think twice before taking a trade after a mistake.

Your profits should pay for your losses.

There is no way one can escape from losses in day trading. I started looking at this way that I want to pay for my losses from my profits. So I would always keep profits to pay for further losses and ensure my losses are not bigger than profits.

Missing a good trade is better than forcing a bad trade setup.

One thing I noticed lately in my journal that forcing a bad trade costed me more than missing good trade setup.
