Shopping for a used Model Y, but a few things I've noticed regarding Carfax reports.

I watched a few videos on the Model Y's recently, test drove one, and decided I want to get one. Some of the videos however shared a common concern that as a potential buyer, has raised a red flag for me. This guy on YouTube, EV Auto Alex, had a customer buy a clean title/clean Carfax Tesla, then took it in for repairs. Tesla had it flagged as a salvage title so they denied the repairs, removed the supercharging capability, and voided the remaining warranty.

This is concerning. If Carfax says a Tesla has a clean title, but Tesla later says it's salvage in their system, how can anyone confidently shop for a used Tesla?

For those who've bought used Teslas, did you do any verification directly with Tesla before purchasing? Is there a process to confirm whether a vehicle has any salvage, rebuilt, or other restrictions in Tesla's records before money changes hands?

Thanks!
