TSportline…this is a joke?

In what world is this amount of weight necessary or acceptable?! 17 weights on one wheel and 11 on another? Have you lost your minds or do you just not care?

Typically I would reach out to the seller first to try and remedy this before going public about it, but you didn’t check these before you shipped them to me.

This is my first and last time doing business with you, TSportline. The wheels are mounted on the car and now I will be needing to go to a tire center to have them correctly balanced because you clearly have no idea what you’re doing. My mind is just blown.

EDIT: I’ve been in touch with someone at TSportline and will update when I get an outcome.

Wiper arm was not aligned. Check yours. Hope this helps someone

On the new juniper Ys you’ll see marks on the windows where the wipers should rest. Mine was way off. You can fix it yourself. The bolt is a 15MM and the torque is 25NM.

First Tesla after following them very closely for years!

So far it’s pretty incredible with the FSD. Will mostly be a delivery vehicle for my business.
Certainly doesn’t come close to the build quality of the E-Tron, lots of noticeable gaps, hood is flimsy etc but what it lacks in build quality the tech and fun makes up for!
Still blown away by FSD. Amazing technologic feat.

Free Upgrade promo !!

Tesla is doing the free upgrade promotion on inventory vehicles but you have to ask for it! For example if you find a car in inventory that has base rims, you can upgrade to the Helix 2.0 rims for free! ($2000 value). I believe you can choose from a couple things with $2000 being the max. Saved me the $2000!!!

The dreaded rock chip

It finally happened to me, I got a rock chip in my front camera, I read the warnings from others but did not listened, lesson learned 🥲
You don’t notice much from the actual image from the screen, it looks like it’s dirty, and I went outside to “clean” it, then I saw the actual issue 😢

I read somewhere that it’s easy to change by yourself, is that correct? Just need to buy the actual part from Tesla.

I think this way is cheaper than getting all the replacement done at Tesla.

Any advice is welcome!

Also what lens guard are good? lol

When using FSD I don’t understand why it won’t say under 74 on standard it’s alway 75mph. Also on chill it goes 72 is there anyway to bump that to 74? I guess that’s two questions

Making sure I’m not missing anything for new purchase.

I’ve been hammering down on research and just want to make sure I’m not missing anything.

So when looking for used it seems like I would want a late 2023+ model for hardware 4? 2024 has upgraded suspension for a better ride? And buying new (that 0.9% interest rate is tempting) I would be without auto steer which is similar to lane keep assist? It seems like we would want the premium model because it seems like a lot of small upgrades that are worth it? And if buying used it’s worth it to buy from Tesla for the extra warranty?

To start we are in Washington state and looking for a long range AWD. I’m looking around the $30,000-$35,000 mark for used which seems to be somewhere in the 2023-2024 model range with 30k-60k miles. We are also looking at new because of the 0.9% financing but the premium AWD is like just out of our reach price wise.

We are looking for the most reliable model year with the best features. Anything I’m missing out good or bad please let me know! Thank you in advance.

Are 2021 really that bad?

Looking for first used Tesla.I’ve looked at probably 50 model y’s from 2021-2023 in a specific price range and I found a “killer” deal on a 2021 Model Y,Long Range, 33,000 miles.

I’ve just been reading about early battery failures on the 2021 and worries me. Even with 3 more years on the warranty, just don’t want to make a mistake.

Fragile windshields?

I’ve had this car six months (26 MY) and have had to replace the windshield twice. The smallest chip from road damage leads to a crack. Not a small crack, a crack that, over 48 hours, spreads almost across the entire windshield.

Any other car, this is a Safelight resin repair, but in this car, the small ding caused the windshield to split in half.

Anyone have this issue?

(Pictures are from the latest crack)

Should I upgrade to 14.3.3? From 14.2.2.2

I have a 2026 model y on 14.2.2.2 currently, today had
Unusual amounts of critical interventions I unfortunately did not save clips of them I should have

Scenario 1: as the car was coming to approach 2 lanes of left turns to be in, it was very indecisive and was shaking left and right vigorously till I had to take control and choose a lane

Scenario 2: actual smart summon was surprisingly and shockingly complete DOGSHIT in the plaza I was in, a simple “come to me” was done in a very reasonable place all it had to do was reverse out leftwards, then go forward and turn right, go straight then make a left, what it actually did was It backed out , and went forward but instead of going through the parking lot it tried to go in the street and the app told me that it stopped due to on coming traffic and main road ahead. I had to run over and take control manual which was embarrassing cause it did block the traffic leaving and where people merge in to exit the plaza

Scenario 3: as usual the tiny navigation annoyances, changed routes for my home and it tried entering a hospital. Which was not part of the route I selected

I have heard people about regressions with 14.3 and I’m too afraid to update it

Please share your opinions have they fixed the navigation and other things?

Seat ventilation -- how do you like it?

Every summer as I sweat I swear my next car will have seat ventilation. What is the experience with the ventilation in Model Y? Does it make a difference?

How Important/Valuable is Autosteer

I just got my first Tesla - a 2026 model Y performance RWD so I’m less asking on what to do and more curious the consensus amongst the veterans in this community.

I was pretty committed to buying a 2026 model Y with the Juniper refresh and the .99 APR was too tasty until last second I realized it longer included Autosteer. After some research I realized there are some used 2026 model Ys that have it before it was discontinued.

I was committed to having Autosteer on the car - especially if it’s the last line of Tesla’s that have it and it has the 2026 Juniper refresh. I thought maybe it would add some resale value to the car if I ever decided to sell it (although I’m in love with the car and don’t imagine I will).

I’m on the 1st month of the free FSD and can’t imagine life without it now. But told myself I’d have months where I didn’t subscribe to it if I wasn’t driving that much.

How do you guys feel about Autosteer? Is it a good alternative to FSD once you’re on the freeway?

Went camping and broke the glass roof. Didn’t realize something was in there when i closed the trunk. Shopping for quotes. Apparently, it’s not repairable. Almost tempted to gorilla tape this mess 😂😂😂

Would you guys buy this 2022 model y performance? (potential damage)

I was browsing Tesla's website and saw a 2022 Model Y Performance with a white interior. It looks clean throughout, except for this front-right bumper. The listing says no accidents; however, you can tell the previous driver may have hit something, or possibly a curb (the black trim near the tire appears slightly popped out). Its selling for 28,300 with 58k miles.

For current 2026 Model Y LR owners — what has been your biggest complaint or regret so far?

I’m considering buying one soon and would love to hear real owner feedback beyond the YouTube reviews. Could be build quality, software quirks, ride comfort, range, service experience, road noise, phantom braking, panel gaps, suspension, etc.

What’s the one thing that surprised or disappointed you most after living with the car?
