Oled vs Ips for heavy usage
Hello guys, So I wanted to hopefully get some opinions on this topic, basically in the last 5 years I've put 22k hours on my LG 27GL850-B ips 144hz 27" qhd monitor, and since I got a 5900x + 3080ti combo, I wanted to get either a 240hz or 360hz monitor instead of the regular 144hz I've been rocking...after looking on youtube and tons of reviewers, I ended up buying myself a AW2725DF , same specs as my previous one, but this one was QD-Oled and had 360hz. The thing is, for the extreme use I give to the monitor, should I return this one and pick up another IPS? The dimming on the Oled and stuff is a bit annoying, and despite people saying that the colour accuracy is much better, to me it just looks washed out. Regarding the 0.03 ms gtg, I didt even notice the difference between that and the 1ms I had on my previous monitor, and 4-4 hours, it's recommended to do a pixel refresh that takes 6-7 min to run. I find most of this stuff really annoying to the point I'm considering returning it , and it's only been 24h since I got it..my question is..should I wait a bit more? Or should I just return it and get an IPS 240hz/360hz that I just set and forget it and wouldn't need to worry about burn-in? Because if my oled had the same 22k hours that my IPS have..i bet it would've gotten burn-in...what is your guy's opinion on this?
