First PC build at 12 — does this look good for ultrawide gaming?

Hey everyone, I’m 12 and planning my first PC build. I’ve been researching parts for a while and I think I finally put together something good, but I want to make sure I’m not missing anything before I eventually buy parts.

I’ll mainly be playing:

  • War Thunder
  • Minecraft (with shaders/mods)
  • Rocket League
  • Arma
  • HOI4
  • KSP2
  • Maybe Forza 6 (depends on space after games above)

I’m aiming for high FPS at 3440x1440 ultrawide.

Here’s the build:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/frYNck

I know some of the prices on PCPartPicker are bugged, especially the RAM and SSD, so ignore those lol.

Main things I’m wondering:

  • Is the airflow setup good?
  • Is 850W enough for the 5080?
  • Any parts I should swap/change?
  • Anything overkill or not worth the money?

Is the ASUS ROG Strix G13CH Desktop 4060 16GB a good deal?

Someone on Marketplace is selling an 'Open Box' ASUS ROG Strix G13CH Desktop, with Intel Core i5 14th Gen, RTX 4060 and 16GB DDR5 for 900CAD.

Is this a good deal in 2026 or should i simply wait for later this year around black Friday and Cyber Monday?

$500 budget: Do you go 32" 4K or 27" 1440p? (The choice determines my layout)

I am trying to finialize my new monitor choice, for my 9800x3D / 5070 Ti setup, with a budget of about $400. Cheaper is always better if I can get a good bang for buck. The ideal use for the monitor is gaming, running my stream, ocasional VoD edit, and watching cartoons/anime with the kids.

Option 1: The 32" 4k

+ The Layout: 32" Center Main (New Monitor), 28" 4k Asus horizontal on top (centered), 27" 1440p Lg Vertical.on left side

Option 2: The 27" 1440p

+ The Layout: New 27" center, 27" 1440p LG horizontal stacked ontop, 28" 4k Asus vertical on left side

Priority:

IPS

G-Sync

Cool Features to play with:

PiP/PbP (for gaming and having anime on same monitor)

Speaker (majnly for when kids sit with me while I game)

Thia is where I have landed after a few days of reseaeching sizes, resolutions, and more. I will say I do entertain the idea of a 34" but fear games that dont support Ultrawide. I play alot of multiplayer games such aas , WoW, Star Citizen, Helldivers 2, BF6, REPO, Conan Exile, Diablor 4, Smite, and alot of Early acess / DEMOs.

First monitor for gaming

Hello everyone,

I'm hesitating between two monitors: the Philips Evnia 32M2C5501 and the Samsung Odyssey G5 G55C.

It's my first monitor, I was told what features to look for and these two monitors stood out for the budget I can afford.

Do you have any opinions on either one?

Or even on both?

Looking for a gaming pc $1500 budget. I need help.

I’m looking for a new pre-built gaming PC with a $1500 budget. My previous system was a 2020 Alienware R11 (2080 Super, 16GB RAM), which I loved, but I now want something with standard, upgradable parts. I primarily play Arena Breakout, COD, Dying Light, and Diablo IV. I need a PC that delivers high-FPS 1080p gaming now, with the ability to upgrade to 1440p comfortably in the future. Ty in advance.
