I might be cooked

School is coming, just around the corner, and for the first year ever we are all getting individually assigned combo chromebooks. Let me get something straight. Chromebooks are ass, right? We all know it. Anyway. So, these chromebooks have 4 gigs of ram and as much storage as an iphone 7 pro, meaning they are so bad that it takes like a minute just to load canvas or google docs. Not only that, but there is also plenty of spyware, but ill keep it politic free of course. i just wanted to rant because idk how many other people are going through the same thing and if anyone has any advice for me because it seems messed up that kids who cant afford a better laptop literally just get effed over because of a law that says devices need to be under security crackdown at all times. thanks for reading!

True 1440p Limits

What gpu do you think 1440p performance gets to a certain point where it no longer makes a difference even at ultra settings? I feel like a 9070xt or 5070 ti is probably the highest i would go before going 4k, because a 4090, 5080, or 5090 just seems like wasted gpu power at some point.

The 5080 may be better, but even then if you get say 300 fps in a game, what‘s really the difference between that and 250 fps?

I was just wondering this as a first post here, let me know where gpu upgrades become negligible for 1440p! Hanging in here with my 1070 on 1440p lol.
