Come join a Project Appleseed 25-Meter Rifle Marksmanship Clinic – Sacramento Valley Shooting Center, Sloughhouse, CA – September 19-20, 8am-5pm
Join the NorCal Crew of Appleseed instructors for this Project Appleseed 25-meter Rifle Marksmanship Clinic. During two full days of instruction and live fire practice, you will learn the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship:
- Proper use of a USGI rifle sling to stabilize your shots.
- Natural point of aim — the point of impact where your relaxed body will place the shot.
- The steady hold factors of the standing, seated, and prone positions.
- The six steps to making the shot.
- How to make sight adjustments.
You will also hear history stories of the American Revolution, centering on April 19, 1775, the day the Revolutionary War started, and how marksmanship and aimed fire changed the course of history that day. All history stories are presented free of modern politics and partisanship in a way that can be appreciated by all.
Both Centerfire and Rimfire rifles are allowed.
