I’m moving to Austin for work at the Apple Lone Star office and I’m looking for a studio apartment in a SAFE area. I’ve been stressing over reviews because every place seems to have complaints about pests, break-ins, terrible management, or hidden fees, and I really just want somewhere clean and peaceful where I can feel comfortable living alone.

My priorities are honestly:

• Safety first (young woman living alone)
• Studio around ~$1,400 including fees if possible
• Reasonable commute to the Apple Lone Star office
• Ideally in a busier area with coffee shops/restaurants nearby so it doesn’t feel isolated (however not very important
• Good natural light would be amazing

If anyone has recommendations for apartment complexes or even neighborhoods that fit this, I’d really appreciate it. Also would love to know which places to absolutely avoid
