Question for yall
Do any of you guys run Smooth Motion on global settings in NVIDIA app? I seem to have run into issues like stuttering, severe ghosting and fps issues. Especially in games like FH6 where I would get 60fps, maxed out settings etc… when I turn off smooth motion, fps jumps up to 150+ with no DLSS, just frame gen. I also noticed when playing Jedi Fallen Order, severe fps issues and stuttering, once I turned it off, oh boy everything was crispy clear with a stable 130fps at max. I noticed that smooth motion also messes with marvel rivals.
Before I upgraded from a 4070 super, smooth motion worked like a charm on anything, can actually get a boost from it which was nuts at first, now with my 5080, I have it completely off because I have noticed it’s been messing with my games.
