I’ve been in a relationship with this guy for about 3 years. We get along really well and I genuinely love him.

We were talking about getting engaged and how our lives would look like after marriage.

I’m religious and he’s not. I want to raise my kids in my religion and he doesn’t want to. He also wants to move back to his home country in Europe along with me and kids after a few years. We currently live in North America.

I don’t want to leave behind all my friends, family and life to move to Europe.

How do I convince him on these things or what would be an acceptable compromise if you were in my situation?
