AIO- Partner got banned from whatsapp and I didn’t reach out enough?
(2nd slide was my messages to her after she apparently got banned and I had no idea)
TLDR: We started long distance a week ago, had an argument after one day, then her number gets banned, I have no idea, and she gets mad at me for not trying to reach out enough
For context, I’m M (23) and she’s F (33) and we’ve been seeing each other for the last 3 months. Cold approaches her in brazil and then we instantly hit it off, especially since her and I were both being “digital nomads” and traveling the world. We decided to travel together and went to brazil, miami (where i’m from), colombia, new york, etc. We’ve been together each day for the last month/ month and a half and even though there were some arguments, we normally understood each other and got over it pretty quick.
I planned for the last year and a half for a trip to a part of Asia for schooling (june-july), and her and I were going to go long distance for a month and half while I did this. The plan was she would meet me here and we’d continue traveling from there.
It’s only been a week since we split off, and she went to colombia to get a boob job (very funny typing this out lol). I’ve been balancing packing, saying goodbye to friends and family, and work all while trying to call her as much as possible, and yet it wasn’t enough for her. Just a day after she left, she already got angry at me for “not communicating enough” and leaving it for last minute (though I called four times that day to no answer).
Now, the text convo just happened where we had a phone call and she said she was nauseous from it and the screens were only making it worse. I needed to hang up to pack and see my dad/ a friend and told her I would call her back (i messed up and didn’t in time, which is my fault for sure), and when I sent messages to her they didn’t go through. I figured she had turned her phone off since we just spoke on how the screens were making her nauseous. I texted her general updates from my life not thinking much of it (my flight was supposed to be canceled but just made it on) and went traveling for 14 hours.
When I came back, I got a text from a new number and then this happened. I haven’t been in a relationship for a while and opened the doors again because I thought she was cool, but this feels insane to me and I can’t tell if i’m tripping or what. I feel the mature response is to reach out on ANYTHING ELSE and say, “Hey, my number got banned on whatsapp, text me here for now!”
