Just finished second play through
Played as resist Durge and romanced Shadowheart. This ending compared to my last play through was so much more satisfying. I never thought a game could do this. It was like watching a great movie (for more than 100 hours lol). From the cutscene after the Orin duel to waking up in bed with Shart after the brain fight just gave me chills. The emotion you feel from Karlach’s plight (she went with Wyll to Avernus) hit hard. Then finding out at the reunion they found plans for a (fucking) forge that could possibly fix her engine makes you feel there is still hope (I was so glad to not go the mindflayer route). I changed my mind literally last minute to side with the emperor (after siding with Orpheas the last run). It just seemed like every decision I made endgame was correct for the ending I was hoping for. Absolutely amazed at everything this game has to offer. I’m going to take a break now (but I just downloaded DOS2 so not really).
