Gastric Bypass Surgery Tomorrow.

What are the surgery dates, starting weight and current weights of everyone.

My starting was 271, and I’m at 260 right now before surgery tomorrow.

I’m nervous, scared, yet so excited to finally get this done and be on the other end of things to become healthier. The 2 week preop diet sucked the first 3 days but after it was fine. Another 2 weeks after tomorrow then I can start soft foods and I cannot be more excited.

Itching on Pre-Op diet??

Has anyone had this happen. I have been on full liquid diet since 8/5 and my surgery is 8/19. I have been really itchy the last 2 days and have a little rash on my chest and just itchy all over. I don’t know if it’s the super B complex with thiamine vitamin or if it’s the diet. I told my surgeon today and he didn’t think it was related, but gave me nothing to resolve the issue. I don’t know what to do. I can’t be itchy all over all the time. I have taken Benadryl and hydroxyzine.

Gastric Bypass after 3 C-Sections

I am scheduled to have my gastric bypass surgery on 8/19/26. Is there anyone who has had c-sections and have a “shelf” stomach because of them? After weight loss what does it look like? Does it go away okay? I now I will probably need to get a tummy tuck, but was just wanting to see if anyone else had this issue and then there stomach looks good enough after weight loss not to have a tummy tuck. I currently weight 266lbs and am 5”7 and 40 years old.

Has anyone not lost any weight with Gastric Bypass?

I am currently scheduled for my procedure August 19th. I am more than prepared to changing all eating habits and literally my whole lifestyle. I just don’t want to be that low percentage that does everything right has this surgery and then I still not lose weight. I know that sounds crazy and I probably shouldn’t read everything on the internet. Has it been harder for some to lose than others?
