Wobbler’s Syndrome… UPDATE

I made a post a few days ago showing my baby boys’s abnormal walk indicating Wobblers Syndrome. After that video I posted a couple days later Vinci’s right hind leg and swollen up 3x the normal size. Multiple CT scans and and MRI later, Chondrosarcoma was found and confirmed in the hind leg that was swollen. Amputation was expected. Another thorough MRI was done and imaging showed multiple concerning areas along the spine. I was led to believe even if amputation of the leg was done because of the multiple areas of the spine showed compression of the cord and signs of cancer spread Vinci would have a long and painfully hard recovery. The chances of him walking would be slim.

Vinci crossed the other side today. 2/14/19 - 7/4/26. 7 years young.

Cherish every moment with your babies. Never give up on them.

Wobbler Syndrome…

Completely heartbroken. Started a week ago. Seeing neurologist on Monday. Hopefully MRI Monday too but we’ll see. Slowly getting worse. Can’t stop crying. Not my first time dealing with this but for some reason this time is the hardest.
