Chronic dizziness (+headaches)?
[17F, I don’t know my exact weight but I’m 173 cm and relatively skinny/mid. Im on birth control, I take no substances. I sleep well, 7-8 h most days. I do not have any diagnoses, generally healthy. Been told I clench my jaw, and that I have slightly low blood pressure. Suspecting autism.]
Hi! First time posting here! This isn’t a new thing, but I feel like it has gotten a bit worse lately. I just wanted to check if it’s something I should go to a medical professional for or if I shouldn't worry.
Im often dizzy, disoriented and dissociated. The three D’s ;). When I go from laying down to sitting up, sitting up to standing, walking stairs or performing physical activities (such as PE), I often get tired (not physically, but like I want to sleep) and dizzy. I can also handle spins and bending down quite badly.
This has been the case for a year+, but it has gotten worse. I often feel like I might actually fall over, and I sometimes get this symptoms from nowhere. I get this reeling feeling from for example from being zoned out to snapping back, being concentrated and stopping being so.
Bc Im quite tall, and as the doctor told me, I have always thought it was a blood pressure thing. I also have been thinking overstimulation, for the times in classes and such. Is that it, or is it something I should look up? I have some anxiety around health, I just want to make sure.
Also, the headache thing! Just a bonus! Ive been getting regular headaches since about 2:nd grade. I chalked it up to stress, sleep, water and whatever. It’s often manageable, even though it occurs multiple days a week. Sometimes its worse, and painkillers often wont help me out. Now that I’m a bit older, I have really tried to get some good habits. I go on walks with my dog basically daily (Im in school so my mother takes most of the responsibility for our dogs), drink a good amount of water, and try to get good sleep. The stress factor is hard to change, as Im in school. Ive also become more aware of my clenched jaw and posture, and Ive improved alot, and almost always sleep on by back with relaxed tongue and jaw.
Is this something I could do anything about, or am I destined for a aching head? Will it improve with time, when stress and hormones have calmed down?
