My uncle found this Nintendo 3DS on the street in Brazil!

My uncle was walking and found this Nintendo 3DS on the street here in Brazil. It was bricked/frozen at first. I bought a third-party charger, but unfortunately, I ended up breaking the charging port. Then I bought another battery; now I charge one externally and use the other one to play. Do you think it's worth fixing it or should I just leave it as it is?
