Parking Violation
I parked my car around 8:40 a.m. in Lot 8. The lot itself wasn’t completely full but the lane I parked in (and the nearby lanes closer to the exit) were almost full so I parked there because it was closer to my class. When I arrived there was only one available space left in that lane. There was already a car parked on the left and another car parked on the right. I carefully parked in between them and made sure I only took up one space. Later around 12:40 p.m. when I came back one of the cars next to me had left. I think that’s why I got the ticket because it may have looked like I was not centered or taking up two spaces after that car left. I honestly did not try to park improperly or take up two spaces. I just parked between the two cars already there. I also wish I had taken a photo right away but I didn’t see the ticket until I left the lot.
VIOLATION: IMPROPERLY PARKED
Has anyone dealt with this kind of situation before and do they usually accept appeals like this?
