Has anyone here had Spark notify them that their deactivation decision was overturned, but then they said they have to run another Checkr background check before reactivating the account?
I was originally deactivated because of old driving record items/MVR issues. The thing is, nothing has changed on my record since then — no new violations, license is valid now, insurance is valid, and the same old items are what showed before.
I’m trying to understand what usually happens next. Does “overturned” usually mean they’re likely to reactivate after Checkr finishes, or can they still deny you again for the exact same MVR items?
Also, if anyone went through this, how long did the new Checkr background check take, and did Spark reactivate you automatically after it cleared or did it go into manual review again?
Not asking for legal advice — just looking for personal experiences from Spark drivers who had a deactivation overturned and then had to do another background check.
