Tyres and related issues
Hello, considering buying an EV as it suits my commute and I have charging at work as well. A colleague who drives a Hyundai Kona recently had a burst tyre coincidentally in the company's car park. He hasn't disclosed the exact amount this cost him but his car was held for a repair for a couple of weeks through insurance. The question is, due to the weight of these things if I ever have a burst tyre would I have to claim insurance or would this be a relatively small repair bill that I could pay for? Literally the only thing playing on my mind right now. If someone could shed some light on a similar emergency repair that they didn't claim for would be greatly appreciated. I do know I could claim but I am looking at ways around this if I can.
