Suggestion: I think we should get a megathread or something that users can contribute with high quality sources on different socionics schools

We do have the wiki, but it's not open to contribution (at least I don't think?). I feel this would help beginners with learning socionics and the different schools. Optionally people can also talk about the appeal of that particular school, I don't think that aspect is touched on enough in school choosing.

Tier list of the single-word names of the IM elements from WSS based on how accurate it is according to my own view of the IMEs

Definitions are heavily based on Ibrahim Tencer's semantics (see hyperlink).

Obviously as these are my definitions in my post, I don't need to preface them with "I see" or "I define". If you see "X is", that's what I mean.

Close/Accurate:

Te - Pragmatism/Profit: Te is fundamentally about observation and resource acquisition through reality-tracking. Pragmatism means orienting toward what works in practice, and what produces usable results from observed reality.

Acceptable:

Si - Senses: Sensory experience is the primary way present-state information is accessed, but other things also fall into Si: equilibrium, homeostasis, maintenance of quality, preservation of state.

Ti - Laws: Laws are explicit manifestations of systemic structure, but a law is only one expression of structure, not structure itself. A worldview or sets of beliefs is also structure.

Fi - Relations: Relations emerge because others can become extensions or mirrors of the self, and closeness depends on alignment of character/intention. But fundamentally Fi is about the self and its character or intentions.

Ne - Ideas: ideas are often media for possibility-generation, but there are also certain qualities to Ne that aren't possessed by every idea (breadth, adjacency, non-exclusivity).

Inaccurate:

Fe - Emotions: Fe is communication, dissemination, expression, etc. Emotions are only one subset of these.

Ni - Time/Telos: Ni is negation/conception of what is absent. It is not fundamentally about chronology. Past/future belong to Ni because they are non-present (i.e. can be accessed through the process of negation: memories for the former and imagination for the latter). Telos is closer (probably belongs in "Acceptable") but "Time" is the more common shorthand.

Misinformation:

Se - Force: Se is action, impact, actual observable change, etc. "Force" carries the incorrect connotation here, meaning 'aggression' rather than drive or change or action.
