I started HRT the end of October 2025. I’ve continued to be on the estradiol patch (currently .075). I started on prometrium. I got my period twice the month I increased that one and that got horrible cramps. I went off that and started 5mg norethindrone on May 6. The first few days I felt good and my body felt almost normal. May 15 I got my period and have been bleeding ever since. We did increase the norethindrone to 10mg this past Saturday. Yesterday was day 19 of bleeding and it was the heaviest. Today’s it not horrible, but day 20. Can anyone give me hope? That there’s an end in sight? This is impacting my anxiety and depression so much.
I am going to get the mirena next week with hopes of that working with my body better.
