safety of UWC campuses

I know that there are so many UWC campuses, but if possible, I'd like to know about the safety of UWC campuses from a student's standpoint. Are problems like sexual harassment/violence prevalent/a major cause of concern in your campus? And do students mostly abide by campus code of conduct?

Also, I know that everyone's experiences are different but in your opinion, is there a specific campus that is considered "safest" or strictest when handling serious cases?

Thank you!

how did you convince your parents to let you apply to UWC (via your NCs)?

I'm sure that this is a problem many people have faced - knowing that you want to at least give it a shot but having parents with a lot of doubts. For those who managed to successfully convince your parents, was there anything you specifically said/did? For me specifically, it's them believing that the better education in UWC doesn't outweigh their doubts about my ability to be independent/safe.

I tried telling them to "just let me apply, and wait for the results" but I think they knew what that implied, and they didn't want to get my hopes up. I really, really want to try getting in at the very least, any help would be appreciated! Thank you so much!

P.S. another sub-question, are grades a major deciding factor for NCs? Eg getting As&Bs + 1 fail, especially because of the high difficulty of school exams.
