Is there still an audience for this sound in 2026?

I've been working on a remix for a track of a buddy of mine (we just used the acapella) co-produced with a friend, and I'm curious how people would classify it.

It's inspired by the early-to-mid 2010s tribal/progressive house sound (think Gregor Salto, Kryder, Sebjak, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano), but produced with a more modern, harder-hitting kick and mixdown.

A lot of current tribal house leans toward Afro House or Organic House, but this has a big melodic payoff and festival-style energy.

I'm not trying to promote anything (this is an alt account)—I'm genuinely wondering:

What genre would you call this?

Do you think there's still an audience for this sound?

If you're a DJ, would you play it?

What label could sign a track like this?

Here's a private clip: https://soundcloud.com/mason-reed-308852864/demo/s-88eqlqkotlB?si=07a49d0f7c094b288185252c60ae2303&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing

[TOMT] Does anyone else remember this youtube video about a message from the future?

This has been bothering me for years.

Back around 2014–2016, I watched a YouTube video that absolutely terrified me. I've tried searching for it multiple times over the years, but I can't find a single trace of it. At this point I'm starting to wonder if anyone else remembers it.

The video was presented as a real recording.

The premise was that a radio signal had somehow been received from the future, possibly from the year 2036 or 2050, from a satellite, the signal coming from deep space. I remember the screen showing some kind of radio spectrum or signal analyzer while an audio recording played in the background.

The voice was in English, but I watched the video on a Spanish-speaking channel. I remember there being a narrator in Spanish explaining what the audience was about to hear.

The recording itself sounded like a man speaking from the future. I always remembered him as a soldier, although I could be wrong. What I remember most clearly is what he talked about.

He described a world that had basically fallen apart.

There were severe water shortages. He talked about people struggling to find clean water. I remember references to deserts, sand, droughts, and entire regions becoming uninhabitable. The tone wasn't dramatic or panicked. If anything, he sounded exhausted.

Almost resigned.

Like someone describing daily life after society had already collapsed.

That he had found an old bunker and that's where he found the radio he was broadcasting from and also that they were low on supplies and food.

For some reason, one detail that has always stayed with me was the idea that there was sand everywhere. Not just in deserts, but everywhere. The world he described sounded dry, empty, and dying.

I don't remember whether the video claimed the future was caused by climate change, but i do remember he talked about WWIII.

What makes this even harder is that many conspiracy and mystery channels from that era have disappeared. The video could have been deleted years ago.

I've found plenty of videos about John Titor, UVB-76, number stations, mysterious radio signals, and supposed messages from the future, but none of them are the one I remember.

The strangest part is how vivid some details still feel more than a decade later.

A radio spectrum on the screen.

A man speaking English through static.

The year 2036 (or 2050, something like that idk)

Water shortages.

Sand.

And a feeling that whoever was speaking wasn't trying to scare anyone.

He was simply describing what had become normal.

Does anybody else remember seeing this?
