Vanguards, we need to talk.

Someone needs to tell the devs that saying “weekend update” then waiting till the last day of the weekend will make ME quit. if im gone, what do they have?

(have they said anything in the dc recently? i got banned a year ago.)

AV we need to talk.

I shouldn't be comfortable with this. While I understand that a av player base will always find things to complain about, the developers are targeting entirely the wrong issues. There are far bigger, more critical systemic problems that need to be addressed right now than whether or not players have perfect Godly stats on every single character. It would have been much better if the developers simply raised the inventory cap to 9,999 and left the chip acquisition rates alone. A large portion of the dedicated player base, including myself, was already sitting at the maximum stat chip capacity anyway. The recent addition of the portal capsules has opened a massive resource floodgate, allowing us to get 9,999 chips too fast. However, because the developers removed the infinite leaderboards, they completely killed the actual gameplay utility of min-maxing. Without a scaling competitive leaderboard where a 1% variance in attack speed or range actually determines a win, chasing a full squad of Godly units has been reduced to pure visual appeal and a superficial flex. This shift toward hyper-abundant resources and min-maxing is precisely the catalyst that triggered the rapid collapse of ALS. By flooding the economy with easily farmable resources, the developers are inadvertently trapping themselves in a devastating design bottleneck. When the player base easily achieves optimized stats through macors (or the very few that manual), developers are forced to artificially inflate future enemy health pools to keep content challenging, which destroys strategic variety (which they literally ALWAYS talk about), locks out casual players, and creates a suffocatingly rigid meta.
