When I saw the poster for tonight's show at Soldier Field was done by Emek, I thought that is going to be a highly sought after poster. FOMO was going to be strong on this one. When I heard there were going to be three merch tables outside, I thought this would be an eBay seller's delight. Show up early, snag a few, and go home to put them up on eBay. There are a lot more than what I am showing. I know that it is impossible to screen people and know what their intentions are. However, there are ways for the band to combat this. First, all posters should be sold inside of venue. That means you need a ticket to the show. Second, limit one poster per customer. I know it is not perfect and there will always be someone who will pay for a ticket just to get a poster to sell. At least hit them in the wallet in the process. Another thing, let people bring poster tubes in to protect their investment. I feel bad for people who wanted a poster to frame and hang at home. I realize that demand will exceed supply and that is part of the thrill of the chase but it still kind of sucks.
