The foo fighters show is good?

Im a new fan of the band, and a friend of mine is calling me to go in a show of the band that will happen in my country (Brazil). In the shows the band is consistently good like in musics? And the vibe is good?

OBS: Sorry for my bad English

Missing concert goer

The friend of a coworker came into town to go to the Foo Fighters show on Saturday. He has been missing since then. Here is the post that the sheriffs department has posted.

Poster reprints

Has anyone purchased a reprint of the show posters? How is the quality? I'm considering one because I loved the Nashville show and would love to have the memory. But they had just sold out when I got there, and I refuse to buy one for $250 from a scalper.

My 50th Show @ Hollywood Bowl

#50 for me will be this Saturday with FF playing with the LA Philharmonic. We will be in the Pool Circle which adds to the nostalgia—iykyk. I’m excited! Anyone else going to the show?

Cool pics from DC show

I have seen Foos three times. First time was 1997 in Norfolk VA October 4, 1997. The DC show was great. Super hot but my wife and I survived. I got a few food pics I wanted to share.

Is this you?

If so, I hope you had an awesome show!

Some jag took this picture and posted it to threads to try and shame strangers for standing and dancing at a rock show.

He inadvertently captured a beautiful moment between two lovely people, and I thought you might want to see it.

Edit: Getting some weird comments...It's clear I'm on the side of the people in the photo, right?

Battle of the DG Guitars!

What ‘Foo themed’ guitars do we all have on this sub then? Here mine, glad Dave’s brought the RD back as of recent.

Dave's personality so jovial.

Been a fan for decades but it was my first time seeing them live last night. This may sound weird but I was not expecting Dave to be so jovial on stage. I know they were always one of the more "fun" and "lighthearted" grunge bands, but they also have some darker songs and videos & Dave's voice has such a deep tone. I was just pleasantly surprised by how happy he was up there, especially being a few decades into his career. And of course, Pat cheesing the whole entire time was the cherry on top. Just so happy I saw them and that they look like they will be around for longer with all their great energy, God willing :))

Edit: In a way, they are a perfect blend of lightness & darkness when it comes to the rock/grunge scene, and I think that's fantastic :)

FF x DC - Amazing show!

Saw Foos for the first time last night in DC. First, it was easy in, not bad out as far as traffic. Metro was a bit crazy getting out but nothing outrageous.

I can't believe the energy they have. Dave's voice was a bit trying at times, but the audience and band helped him out.

Ilan killed it!! Saw someone else post here that he reminded them of Animal... totally agree!

Even though we were seated behind home play in the 300 level, and the band looked like ants, video boards were great and got a few pics and videos.

I was a little disappointed in the encore, being The Teacher and Everlong. When they left the stage before it, I said to the person I was with it was weird, they didn't play it. They came back out, and it felt like it killed the mood a bit... I get it, I just lost my mom recently (These Days hit me hard), but thought it would have been better suited before the encode.

But that's such a minor issue given the awesomeness of the show.

It was also my first stadium concert, so wasn't sure what to expect. We got there about 4:45 (doors were 4p). All the posters were sold out already, but it was quiet early on our level.

Can't wait to go see them again.

So I was just scrolling on Instagram and saw a picture of the current tour’s merch booth. I thought one of the shirts looked kinda familiar. Sure enough, I got a similarly designed shirt at Kohl’s a super duper long time ago. It was definitely not 60 bucks! Haha

The pic is from 2015. I got the shirt a few years before that I think.

Three Shows, Three States, Three Different Drummers.

I had the honor of seeing Taylor play in Atlanta in 2017, Josh in Birmingham in 2023 and Illan in Nashville last Saturday. There will never be another Taylor but I gotta say that Illan comes a hell of a lot closer than Josh. Don’t get me wrong, Josh was technically perfect but Illan comes a lot closer to Taylor’s passion and that X factor he added to the music. Anybody else agree or disagree?

This is the poster for DC?

So excited for the concert in DC tonight and I’ve been looking at the Foos concert posters for years and was excited to finally get one (regardless of the overuse of AI on them recently) but this just ain’t it. I know a real artist was tagged but I’m sorry why is this a crossover of baseball with Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs animation? I was ready to get a poster regardless but this is so….not the foo fighters that I might spend my money on an overpriced wearable merch instead :/ Am I wrong and this is sick af?

Paper Ticket Guy

Just got back home from the show in Nashville over the weekend; face melting Rock to match the temp! I was the guy asking around for a paper ticket. If I gave you my spiel or you over heard me bothering someone else, sorry again for the annoyance!

The only lingering side effect I have from COVID is mental: I have to get over the fact that they don’t print tickets anymore and my ticket stub book has seen its last entry, ready to collect dust like my old man’s.

I’m a ticket stub guy, or was I suppose. I have to stop embarrassing myself after concerts, begging for scraps of paper from people who instinctively assume I am trying to scam them somehow.

That said, if anyone reads this and happened to go to the show, happened to have a printed ticket given to them (promo and box tickets are still printed), and happen to not want it, there is a guy in Ohio that might just be interested!

Was at the Nashville show. I have this burning question regarding the tribute portion of the set

Maybe I just mis-read the situation or maybe I’m not in on the joke. But when it came time to play a song from the drummer’s past band why did Dave say “yeah we’re not playing that” in regard to llam’s former band? He’s been in some big ones including NIN. I just thought that was odd. I’m sure I’m the last to know

End of Everlong in D.C? Video?

Hi y'all! Just came from the D.C. show, which rocked. My battery died halfway through Everlong (their final song with the fireworks). If anyone has a video of that, can you share with me? Not sure if this is allowed here :) Just really want a video of the fireworks part, especially. Thanks <3

Edit: someone happened to share their video in another post (https://www.reddit.com/r/Foofighters/s/amLnjTn9P6), so I think I'm all set. But if you have better quality or longer version feel free to share. Thanks :)
