Haaaye! Idk who to clap for? Mahid? Parth? The director? The team? If blow your mind had a face… my jaw stuck to the ground with tears and snot running down would be it. And if hard work pays off had a face… well that would be yours P! Outdone yourself is not a strong enough phrase to describe you today. Neither is fabulous! Yet those are some of the only few I can think of. Add Magnificiant, Breathtaking and Exceptional to your collection hat. Your own bar is a dot to you because you jumped too damn high!

Let me preface this by saying .. No. This is not a review. Just some of my notes and thoughts on the EP, that i think is extremely important for y’all to know….maybe we can call it a roast…. Lets decide the genre later….

‘K then… straight to business:

Mahid… honey… laugh…. Seher is funny… please laugh… i see your lips twitching… just let it out… shhh… we won’t tell if you dont….

Kurti ke back pocket mein ice cream rakhne ki jagah bhi hoti hai? Where can I get such kurtis? Or is this a new principle of physics that my generation skipped that could explain how a popsicle does not succumb to the forces of gravity or thermodynamics… no wonder i didnt quite make it to the IITs… physics was always my weakest paper… ye concept koi samjha do mujhe zara…Also also also… if the kurti buttons are this complicated… HTF does seher dress herself every morning?! Sooo maaanyyy questions about functionality crossing my mind!

Not a fan of children generally… but kaiz has won over my stone cold heart! Little one is not only a successful khurafati bacchoo, he has done it with more finesse than adults 10x his age …. And he casually stuck a finger through the web of misunderstandings, that mahid and seher diligently built over the last 2 days! Special mention: Mahid’s face during the abbu reveal… Priceless! And Bhavika… impeccable comic timing… 🤌🏼

Where the F is the ice cream wrapper?! Why is it unwrapped to begin with?

Mahid doesnt have UPI or apple pay on his phone….Who even carries a wallet these days?

Let me explain…

In todays EP mahid and seher are both in green… same costumes as they have been all week…. The promo at the end of todays EP has seher and Kauser in pink/maroon outfits as they run through the woods chased by a crowd of men blaming kauser for killing DH…. But then a second later seher and Mahid are both back in their Eid green outfits with seher blaming mahid for kausers death…

I am so confused by the order of events here! Or is this another one of those ragebait promos that we never actually see in the actual EP…. Like the incidents happen but not quite in the way they initially proposed….. 😶🤨

WHAT A FANTASTIC EP! The first 12-15 mins where Mahid explains his plan to tackle DH… old vs new… empowerment vs suppression…women vs society …. Science vs religion… duniya vs deen… Bagawat! A clash of the ideologies! 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 Now thats the man we have rooted for…. This was the show we signed on for… Mahid taking a stand for the very freedom that he was once scared off (i wont say opposed because he was never a regressive thought leader like DH)… his inhibitions were all rooted in his mother’s death and I forgive him for having a stance that wasnt more generous…. But today his ideology was clear… He made me proud… he made Fareed and seher proud too! But to win this freedom for kauser and seher would mean the end of MaHer as we know it…

Irony is THIS track should have gone on for a few weeks… but alas we have a ticking timebomb… the editing has become so choppy… the scenes patched through in a way that made me feel dialogues were dropped because there was no time for a retake…. I will never forgive the @$$hole who made this show a circus offscreen… and Mahi… this could have been your moment to shine… you just had to wait for it to play it out… may this be a lesson for us all - patience is a virtue, and we must hone it… warna humaare saath bhi aisa hi hoga… give up too soon and you loose out on your slice of the cake right as it is about to be served! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Todays EP fed a part of my soul that i didnt even realise was hungry! Seher questioning DH on deen vs duniya was supreme and so well crafted! Whats interesting is DH seems to be opposed to womens education and rights because of his experience with Gazala… does that mean he wasnt always such a regressive old prune?

Mahid’s sixth sense clocking that someone dearest needs his assistance was also endearing in my eyes… he wanted to feel bad for Insha, be more present and show more empathy, but his gut was holding him back. Krishna Mahid and Tahir keep passing her off to one another like she is a baton in a race… if she is a grey-neg character (which given her approach to Mahid seemed to be), then I recommend passing her off to haider next. And speaking of Haider, anyone else notice him drooling over Seher taking the stage and holding her head high in a Man’s world?

Also ladies, get your Bata, khadim, paragon, and crocs ke rubber chappals ready… we gotta beat the shit out of Parvez, and safiya too at this point… aj kuch zyada hi bak rahe the woh dono miyaan biwi…. 🩴🩴 Husna ko bhi ek do laga denge abh, while we are at it..

And finally my note to kauser… meri ma… meri jaan… you found Muneera…. Thats great… but ye baat abhi bhade maashrey ke samne seher ko batani thi aap ko? Time and place babe… time and place🤦🏻‍♀️
