Need help with Iphone 17 Pro Max IMEI2 teleport to Warp
I've been round and round with Customer support... Bought the Iphone 17 Pro Max directly at the Apple store with no cellular restrictions / contract / etc. I have a work number through Verizon Business that I transferred my ESIM to IMEI1. The IMEI2 was previously on Google Fi for my personal cell phone, I was able to port my number over and get USM setup with Lightspeed. I intitially was trying to get to Warp and USM said my IMEI2 was not compatible is why I activated on Lightspeed. I ended up moving over to Dark Star as I was having some strange stuff with iMessage showing Green rather than Blue. Even then when I tried to move to Dark Star it showed my existing phone IMEI was incompatible. I was able to set it up as a new phone, provide the IMEI and it moved through the app to get it activated, downloaded the esim, deactivated the Lightspeed and boom was up and running on Dark Star.
Now back to the original issue. I went rounds with Customer Support with them telling me to go back to Apple, etc with the issue. As a test, I setup an additional network for Warp, was able to download the ESIM and successfully activate it on my IMEI2. So I know that Warp works on that IMEI... I need to get my Primary Network, personal phone number on Warp! The main reason is that I can use cellular with my new Apple Watch, and Warp is the only plan with free companion watch service. Please someone save me from the round and round at USM!
